In Smile you can use AppleScript's
built-in computational features. AppleScript is easy to use, it can natively write and read binary as well as ASCII files. AppleScript makes a convenient framework to perform calculations when arrays do not exceed a few hundred items. In the chapter below we recall the main information about computing in AppleScript.
